Another Tablet sees the light of day
Like I’ve said before, this really is the time of tablets and here’s another one. This is the iLet Mini HAL. It’s a 7-inch tablet from Haleron that runs Android 1.6. The CPU is a VIA ARM 600MHz and it has 128Mb DDR2 ram. Those specs aren’t that impressive, but for the price of $199 it’s not to shabby. It’s well enough for surfing the web and listen to music.
The Mini Hal also has 2GB flash memory and supports up to 32GB. You can connect to internet trough Ethernet 10/100M or WIFI:802.11B/G, if you want 3G then it’s trough the USB. The iLet Mini Hal has 1 SD port, 2 USB ports, 1 stereo out and 1 microphone in port, and thats more then you can say about the iPad. Sure these two don’t play in the same league, but the fact that it has SD and USB ports makes the gap so much smaller. The iLet also offers 10GB storage in the cloud.
This device ships March 1 and the price is $199.
